Default Humidifying A Resonator Guitar?

What do you use to humidify a Resonator guitar?

I just bought a Beard Round Neck and I am using the home made soap dish method.
I know that the guitar is laminated but all wood should be cared for and proper humidity is part of that.

Is there a better way to humidify a resonator?

I think anything you can do to out moisture into a case if you are in a dry climate is a good thing. I have a couple of wood reso's and I just try and get a few boveda bags in the case. There is probably a way to get a damp it or similar to fit into an F-hole if you have that style. I do worry too much humidity might result in some corrosion to the metal parts???

I wouldn't worry too much about laminates...they are not going to crack due to low humidity.

I treat my (non-laminate) wood-bodied resonator the same as the others, only I do not put a humidifier inside it, but instead leave it on the outside, but still in the case with it.

Thanks for your comments.
Looks like my soap dish with water beads will do just fine.

I humidify all my instruments by humidifying my music room. I've got too many to mess around with maintaining 24 microclimates independently.

great topic, and one I have not noticed on here before.
I'm guilty of not monitoring my wood resonator as closely as my other guitars, but probably should---thanks for the reminder.

We don't have huge humidity swings where I live, but I treat my National resonator like my other wood instruments; monitor humidity and humidify when needed.
