Swelling Left Hand when playing hot, outdoor gig.

i just played the first of several 4 hour gigs I have lined up. They are outdoor venues, and in the heat and humidity, I notice my left hand swells up a bit. Nothing painful, but I loose some dexterity. Does this happen to anyone else, and do you have a remedy? Thanks!

Make sure to drink a lot of water prior to gig (even the day or two before) and cut down on salt intake.

Sounds like poor peripheral vascular return.
Hydrate, take frequent breaks.
Stretch well before you play.

Diluted gatorade, 50% water, over-hydrate yourself.
Make sure your breathing is deep and simple, not rushed/shallow.
