Bought my first Taylor...
Hello everyone!
My first mark on this ground =) Guitarplayer, of course. A couple of days ago I went to my favourite musicstore to see if there was any nice Taylors. Ive been thinkin of buyin one for about a year now, and it felt like a great birthday present for myself, so I took off and went over there. I was thinkin mostly about maybe an GA3 or likewise. I guess I can say luckily, they didnt have any. Instead I found a 2006 Taylor GS6 with pickupsystem and a GS5 2005 I think. Tried them both, and they was pretty much more expensive though. But I just picked the GS6 up for some flatpickin. And that was pretty much it. It was just like when you give a big hug to an old lost friend. I was completely amased by the deep tone and all the vibrations goin through my chest. By then, the extra money didn't matter. Totally well spent! Well this was my first post here, hope to stick around and chat with other people about tone, wood, tecnique and so on. best regards, John
