Wow, beautiful guitar. What's your dimensions for a 14 fret 00? Do you typically do short scale or long scale?

Nice. No, NICE. For looks, there is no American tree that tops Koa. Myrtle and Maple sometimes try. You have there one of the very prettiest Koa backs I have seen.

The dimensions are as follows;

Upper bout: 10-7/8"
Waist: 9-1/16"
Lower bout: 14-5/8"
Body length: 18-3/4"
Neck/body joint: 14
Scale length: 24.9"

As of now, all the OO guitars I have made have been short scale.

Thanks Bard, the photos do not capture the real beauty of this set. I've made quite a few koa guitars, and this set really is the best looking set so far. As you move the guitar in the light the curly figure rolls, and the color in the woods has an interesting thing going on, the colors shift, and green and red highlights in the wood become apparent and disappear with differing angles, it's something I have not seen with koa thus far. A very cool effect. The color of the koa works really well with the bubinga bindings also.

It is really neat to see that happen. I had a Bubinga guitar that did the same thing. You could sit there and just look at it and be amused.
