Wow, that’s a nice haul! Congrats. I’ve got a CEO-7 and I love it and I expect you will love yours too. I sure would like to add an 0-18 to my stable.

Well that's a major NGD. I've not had the pleasure of playing a 0-18, but the CEO-7 is a very nice guitar. I can see why it would be your main player.

I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the CEO-7 vs 0-18.

These are two guitars that I think about often. Which is easier to control while playing, as in, does one notes decay quicker then the other? How do their tones differ?

I imagine that 0-18's is super sweet and quite diverse.

Congrats!

Nice little triumvirate there!

I was looking for a CEO-7. Fell in love with the looks a couple of years ago, but couldn't afford it. Finally played one last week - helped out a gig where the guitarist was playing one. Really liked the feel etc, but couldn't find a single one for sale in the UK, new or secondhand. One day I'll get one...

My lowbrow opinions probably won't amount to much more than the obvious, but the CEO-7 is deeper and has more noticeable resonance, especially on the low-E compared to the 0-18. The 0-18 is also noticeably quieter when I finger pick (but it's plenty loud with a pick). It sounds like a small body guitar and there's no getting around that, so I think as long as you don't expect it to magically sound like a larger guitar, you'll be happy with how it performs.

These guys would probably provide better insight:

Thanks everyone. My goal now is to play what I have and avoid new guitar-itis for at least the rest of the year.
