Looper pedal choice

I am looking at buying a looper pedal. Two items I am strongly considering are the Boss RC-1; and the Electro-Harmonix 720. Going through Sweetwater. Main use would be to lay down a track or tracks and then practice soloing over them with either my guitars and or banjo and dobro. Maybe even use live if I get proficient enough. Budget would be $200. Don't need all the bells and whistles. Want something that is relatively easy to learn and use. So that's it. If you have experience with these two items and have some insights to share, I'd appreciate it.

I've owned and used both. My suggestions are still the same as I posted in your November "Thinking about getting a looper..." topic.
