Default Tone Dexter Wave Map question

So, please excuse me if this is already answered somewhere in the mass of TD hoopla. Here's the question:

If you create a Wave Map using, say, a resonator guitar and a mic, what then will it sound like on not a resonator guitar? Or even, say, nylon string guitar source played back with a steel string?

Try it and find out. Report back...

Have you seen the video where James May plays a Yamaha silent guitar with a wavemap created on a quality instrument with the same kind of UST pickup installed?

The ToneDexter has changed the quality and the nature of acoustic guitar amplification...all for the better.

IMO (ahem, I said, IMO) anyone and everyone that wants to amplify an acoustic guitar should own a ToneDexter...learn it (easy), and use it.

Our world has fundamentally changed with this one rather amazing piece of equipment.

I tried out my resos on the TD, with my Neumann KM184 and it is great! Where were you TD, when I laid myself at the mercy of....mics...at a bar....noisy bar, blues bar...they could hear me but I sure couldn’t!
I always liked my metal Dobro with a Shure SM57, a good match, so I will try that in the TD later, but I am pleased with the result so far.

Nice... I don't amplify much, but I'll check it out.

...i'm gonna say that no your standard guitar will not sound like your resonator when run through the resonators wave map...i say this because i have wave mapped my Deering nylon string banjo/guitar and when i route my standard guitar through it, it does not sound anything like the Deering....the wave maps as far as i can tell really are specific to the instrument used to create them and that is where the best results are achieved....
