Default It seems convertibles were more popular decades ago....

I miss all the ones I had over the decades. from a 1959 TR-3 to a '77 T-Top corvette.....

Just to bring it to guitars...I once arrived behind the stage to play a big gig as part of a band. A stagehand came out to help me and saw my strat in the foot well and my ac30 on the little parcel shelf behind the seats. He said, " now that IS rock and roll"!
Happy days....

I have this Mustang. It's a 1993 triple white feature car. She just turn 41,000 original miles. There were 444 5 speeds produced but that badge over the 5.0 makes it 1 of 50. The badge signifies it was one of the fifty that was sent to the 9th annual Ford Motorsports Nationals Special Edition at Maple Grove Raceway

Until about a year ago I owned a Honda S2000 Roadster. If you ever get a chance to drive one, do it. It has a 4-cylinder motor with variable valve timing and a 9,000 rpm redline. It's pretty tame up to about 6,000 rpm, which is about where the variable valve timing kicks in and then all hell breaks loose and it becomes a little monster. And it corners like the road and tires are made of velcro.

I've been a passenger in one of those, it was frankly terrifying!
You need a lot of faith in the driver....
