Yeah, that golden ratio delay done right is heavenly. I have the new version of the Memory Lane on my bass board. For whatever reason I've stuck with the El Capistan for many years (and have two of them). I don't even use the more tape-echo focused features like multihead, I just like the way it sounds and it has a good spring reverb to boot.
