Not the GS-mini . . . . unless you plan on playing guitars of that scale most of the time.
I'd learn on something with a more "normal" scale . . . . between 24.5" to 25.5"
The 23.5" is just short enough that it can cause problems when switching to other guitars of a longer scale length.
As to the dreadnought or GA body style, I would base that on which feels more comfortable to you when playing it sitting down. Most people would opt for the GA (114), IMO.
