I play in a duo with someone who uses a stompmix to mix their vocal mic and sax mic (both phantom power). She loves it. I haven't noticed much extra noise coming from it at the gigs we've played. Not sure what it's like in a super quiet setting.
She powers it with a USB bank and a voltage converter. A+ little unit
