Couch guitar to me is a good small and sweet noodling guitar kept by the couch for good low volume practice, usually no electronics on it unlike the ones you find on my stage guitars. I'm 5'3 so parlors and 000s are the ideal. I used to have an art and lutherie nylon parlor which was the perfect couch guitar and I stupidly sold it.
