1999 Martin D-15. Couple Spec Questions.
Having a chance to buy one I looked around and can only find scattered bits about the first Martin D-15's. I know obviously solid mahogany and assume from 1999 it's South American. In the pics I've seen all appear to have rosewood bridge/fingerboard. The one big question I have is most pictured have the bridge type associated with the M&T joint with slotted pin holes that follow the angle of the saddle. The one I'm interested in has a 'Standard' non slotted bridge type. Anybody know if Martin made the D-15 with both bridge types ? I tend to associate the 'Standard' bridge with Martin's better instruments.
