There's actually quite a bit of choice these days; Juststrings.com sells six brands of electric baritone guitar strings and four brands of acoustic baritone guitar strings - D'Addario, Elixir, John Pearse and LaBella.

I agree that selection of ANY baritone guitar strings is just about nonexistent in most music stores, but fortunately they're found easily enough online. I also agree it will be nice when other manufacturers start making them.
