The same reason that I'll go through the bother of wearing nice clothes to go to certain restaurants. It's worth the effort for the joy of the experience.

^Thank you. I've never played a more responsive and articulate instrument than this and if I have to look out for it, no problem. I've got plenty of other nice guitars I can bang on but this is a truly unique one and I wouldn't want to miss out on the experience of playing it.
