Matt I know where your coming from, While I love music when Im trying out a 3000 dollar guitar I dont want to hear the PA system blasting hard rock. When I sit to try out an acoustic I kindly ask "Please shut that music off for just a few minutes" It works most of the time. One of the shops I frequent had a new salesman that said he couldnt shut it off so I just walked out. Two hours later the owner was at my house with three guitars for me to try out. I went to a guitar store in Fayettville NC and in a small little corner nook in the back is the high end acoustics, no ceiling and over the wall are the drums. Took me 45 minutes to try out a 914CE some 10 year old was doing a real bad impression of "wipeout". 4 year old Big Baby? prototype indeed! thats the one with the non NT neck and solid rosewood back and sides right? hehe!
