Taylors are known for being pretty consistent in terms of their set-up and the tone of any given model; but that's not to say that all will either sound, play, or feel the same. There's no substitute for trying out a guitar before purchasing, but I believe you'll find some great deals among used instruments right now should you decide to purchase long-distance.
