Agreed that trying some guitars for yourself is a great idea, if at all possible. Bring a friend too, so you can listen to each other playing.

I'm new to acoustic guitars but isn't that Yamaha a dreadnought? A friend of mine told me I should stay away from those if I plan on playing fingerstyle.
