A popular source for some EV discounts is ProAudioStar, which currently has an "Open Box" Everse 8 listed at $639, which is a less dramatic deal than the 30ms which have been selling at $1099 (compared to the $1399/"marked down $100" currently listed at Sweetwater).
ProAudioStar variously lists their discounted Evolves as Open Box and Used, and some customers have reported seeing no obvious signs they were ever used, with everything sealed up. They have a 35-day return window and their warranty statement is "Most b-stock, used, and open box items carry a limited or full manufacturer warranty." They respond to queries, and I can think of at least one customer who said their Evolve had a full warranty.
