Alvarez 5022
I just came across a 5022 made in Japan. She has the date 1/12/ 74 stamped vertically on the left side of the Alvarez label. However there is no serial number on the Alvarez label Inside the guitar. The headstock is beautiful with a black bell shape Alvarez metal clip that is mounted at the top of the nut below the Alvarez logo and is secured by three small wood screws. There is also a beautiful rose emblem to the left of the Alvarez label. The tuners have a an over scripted S with made in Germany running across the bottom of the tuners. The guitar plays beautifully. Does anyone know the significance of the rose that appears to be factory installed on the guitar?
