I had a fender Sonoran with the bubinga back and sides and it played very nice. The neck was fast and felt good while playing. The fishman pick up was very well suited to this guitar and sounded great through an amp and pretty good unplugged.
The looks of the Sonoran bubinga made a lot of people comment on it.
I played it tirelessly for hours.
I only sold it because my wife gave me the green light to buy a martin gpcpa4 rosewood if I sold the fender to help pay for the martin.
I know it seems everyone puts down fender acoustics but honestly the Sonoran natural colour all solid spruce top ans bubinga sides was a well crafted/sounding guitar in Oct 2013. Like all guitars, try it before you buy it. Good luck.
