Boss DB-60 Metronome

Hi, I just started learning/playing 1.5 years ago and have been using a metronome (when I do) on my phone.

I just found a Boss DB-60 at a Guitar Center Clearance sale for 10 bucks. What is the word on this, it looks a little too hard to use.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The Dr. Beat metronomes are good quality, and have a ton of features. It looks to have the ability to adjust the volume of different aspects of the sub-divisions. It can do duplet and triplet.
