Yamaha FG 700.....now......and a Martin next....

OK....I give in...Once I become a better player....I will probably get a Martin Dread....But I am only 1 year deep into my journey...self taught.....and loving this journey as a beginner....I have a long way to go...but my question is....how many of you started off with a Yamaha FG 700.......My Yammie sounds great with a few mods and I know some day I will probably want a Martin......but it's going to be so hard to buy one to replace her.....although I will never part with her....my wonderful FG 700.......

What?
Thing about Yamaha's is they are always referred to by their price...
Bang for the buck...
Myself, I hate that. But what is a poor boy to do?
Pay attention to string spacing at the nut and at the saddle.

I don't know of a better value than the FG700S. Even if you one day buy a Martin, there is no good reason not to keep the Yamaha.

I started off with a Martin...

I like the Yamaha though

I have always recommended the FG700S as the best value in guitars, especially for the beginner. When it's time, look for a nice, all wood Martin on the used market.
