Can someone recommend a guitar tech/luthier in the Buffalo, NY area.....

I need some minor work done on an old guitar. Also, looking to have a pick up installed. The local shops I've been to only do basic set ups. They don't install pick ups, they contract them out. I would prefer going directly to someone.
There was someone who was advertising here about working on guitars etc. But he got some bad reviews/comments.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Jim Holler at Trinity Guitars, he's in Jamestown, NY:
Might be a bit of a drive, be he is well thought of here and on the Larrivee Forum.

I've dealt with Scott at Top Shelf on Hertel Ave for years. Also if you're in the suburbs, Suburban Guitar Repair in Pendleton has done some fine work for me.

Top Shelf probably has more experience with the older stuff.

Both are by appt only
