an old rosette and a new rosette in the 600 serie?
 

Hello friends!
How you know I'm ordering a new Taylor and will come for XMAS and I have done a lot research in speciall about the rosettes.
Here its what I have found:
615 1998

why Taylor did this? I prefere so much the new one!!!
My 614ce will come with the new? (please please please I love this!)

You mean the two extra white bands? Taylor removed those from the 600 series a year or so ago I think....Personally, I like them both...not sure which I'd go for...

My 2002 614CE has the second one that you have pictured. It sure is pretty.

Yes will be an awesom XMAS!

The new one would be faster and less work to make since everything would fit into one cut out area. The old one required 3 cut out areas and separate inlaying for the outside and inside white rings. Both are nice but I personally prefer the old one.
