Zissou, your comment was the last one on the old thread before it closed. I was going to reply that your wife can access content not available in the U.S., if you have a VPN. You can get Windscribe for a minimal fee, but would likely need to stream the show onto a computer, tablet, or mobile device.

In a fortuitous turn of events, I now get both Disney+ and Hulu, gratis...

I started watching "Only Murders In The Building", and have been enjoying it. A little slow for the first episode, but it has picked considerably since then. I'm on the 7th episode and liking it, more and more as we go! Lots of fun, and I do like Steve Martin a lot, as well as may of the other actors in the series.

Finally got the chance to watch all the Mandalorian episodes, too. I like pretty much all things Star Wars, and that show has been a hoot! Love the little guy!

I've also begun the latest Jack Ryan season. Several episodes in and I'm liking that, too...

I now have far more stuff to watch on TV than I care to...

We just finished the 8th and final episode of “Fleishman is in Trouble” on Hulu. We loved it….but it isn’t for everyone. The first episode or two has many brief but explicit depictions of sexual activity involving the main character…so for some, i assume this would disqualify it from making a list of shows to watch. But if that doesn’t bother you (or if you enjoy such things), it eventually moves past that and gets into some very meaty, psychologically interesting, and at times emotionally powerful explorations of psychological and relationship dynamics related to divorce and marital conflict and friendship.

We recently discovered “Three Pines” on Amazon Prime, which we also love (part way through the first season of 8 episodes). More and more, we are turning to suspenseful murder mysteries, especially ones made outside the US (though “Murders in the Buikding was terrific). As long as there isnt a lot of violence or gruesome images, we find it easy to watch them, and very involving. “Vera” is another one (from Britain).

Reaching the last group of Dr. Who episodes featuring Matt Smith, with Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. A likeable group, with the third best portrayal of The Doctor.
Nice to see the Brigadier's daughter carrying on the family tradition.

jseth, we've been watching "Only Murders." I watched S1 twice (once solo, once with my son and wife). My son and I began watching S2 (got tired of waiting for my wife, LOL). Fun comedy, murder mystery.

Speaking of... our family watched "Glass Onion" last weekend, which is the second "Knives Out" movie and streaming on Netflix. Really entertaining, although I liked the first one more.

Also, I'm semi-re-watching "The White Lotus" with my wife. Both seasons take place in luxurious resorts (Maui and Sicily, respectively) and have plenty of entertaining twists. Each season features a mostly new cast and story line. Definitely not for family viewing, LOL!

Watched 'Wednesday' on Netflix and thought it was great. Almost through the lastest (third) season of Jack Ryan and also really good. Tried to watch the second season of Russian Doll and couldn't get past the first episode which is a bummer since I enjoyed the first season.

Stargate SG-1 (season 9) and Stargate Atlantis (season 3).

SG-1 went downhill a bit after Richard Dean 'MacGyver' Anderson took a much more limited role. Hopefully seasons 9 and 10 aren't disappointing.

My favorite series of the year - last year that is! - is Reservation Dogs on Hulu. It took me a couple of episodes to get into it and I am very glad I gave it time to work its magic on me! As many probably know, the series is 100% Indian written/directed/acted/etc. and takes place among the community of a reservation in Oklahoma. I have flat-out not seen a better representation of real life, human spirit and condition.

Completely different in most ways, I just finished the 6-part Dark Winds series which is the latest evocation of a Tony Hillerman mystery. Very engrossing and well done. There's some overlap in the Indian casting between this series and Reservation Dogs. I bought the series on Amazon. Can't remember where else it is available but not where I could get it.

Hey AE, The Sinner is a great show. I watched the newest season, S4, last month. That season was filmed in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Beautiful area. I recognized many of the places.

Only Murders In The Building.

Really enjoyed this, can't recommend enough.
If you are familiar with the popularity of true crime podcasts, it will make some of the laughs even funnier.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Only Murders In The Building. I take it given the success there's going to be a season3.
