For those of you that need a free drum machine to practice with

Here's a very simple and free drum machine. I've been using this with my students since my actual drum machine went to heaven. I actually prefer this.

I also like Hammerhead: http://download.cnet.com/HammerHead-...-10027874.html

Very easy to use. No confusing bells and whistles.

Thanks for that, I've been using a metronome recently and although it undoubtedly helps it all seems a bit soul-less.

The drum samples on "Monkey Machine" sound much better:)

Cheers.

Pretty handy for noodling around - thanks for the link. I'm just starting to get into Hydrogen, but sometimes it can be a bit of overkill.

Thanks for taking the time to post about this drum machine alternative.

Thanks guys. This is something I think I will actually check out... better than a lame metronome ticking away behind you all the time.

That's cool. I've been paying Charlie Watts a wicked rate to jam with me. ;)
