Looking for acoustic for lap slide playing

I'm looking for an acoustic guitar with a wide nut suitable for setting up for lap slide playing. . vintage or new ?

This is a resurrection from 2010, I was just searching topics on lap slide. What I've done is slap a nut extender and bone saddle on an old Epiphone Hummingbird Pro, open D tuning. I play old American folk and country blues and it seems to work fine. I use a Dunlop 926 Lap Dawg Tonebar, Chromed Brass. Lots of fun for a second guitar. I also use Medium 80/20 Bronze Strings. Maybe someone might be interested in converting one of their extra acoustic guitars not getting much use.

This would have been good in new thread, as I have done a lot of messing with conversions to lap steel, both acoustic and electric. I use both home-made nut raisers and conversion capos, and also home-made floating capos.

I also play mostly folk and country blues, in open D or E, depending on scale length and string gauge.

To answer the OP's question, you can use a wider nut spacing on the nut raiser. :)
