414ce
I've been browsing this forum for a little while and how can I not join a great place like this?
Here's my first question: The other day I tried my friend's 2003 414ce which I considered buying. It's plugged to a PA. I noticed that ocassionally notes on the high E string were muted for 1/2 to 1 second or so then it's back to normal. Does it seem to be a defective pickup or what are your thoughts? |
I would say it's a defective finger. or maybe the PA. Very doughtful it's the guitar. The p/u's as a rule eather work or don't work. With it being intermiten I would check the PA Welcome to the forum !!!:) Bill

Welcome to TGF....... I think most would agree the Fishman system is a proven design and very reliable and has been adopted widely.
Go for the 414CE.....you will be very happy with it. |
Thanks for your replies.
Aparantly the 414ce was checked ok by a guitar tech, the problem must be lying somewhere else. I'll re-examine just to make sure it's fine & I might just be another new Taylor owner. :) |

I'd check something other than the guitar.
