Pricing Help

I'm sure there has to be a tread on this ---but----

How do you arrive at a fair price when selling a used Taylor?

I monitor ebay...while it is far from perfect... you can see what's selling and what's not and for about how much. Don't go by the 'Buy it Now" or the asking (reserve) price. See what they actually sold for. Check and see what Elderly, Buffalo Brothers and other retail stores are selling used models for. They will be high also but you can get an idea.

Most of the time, you take a beating when trying to sell a guitar that you purchased new...it's just the way of things..

For your 2002 614, I'd say a fair used price would be about ... $750.00. RIGHT!!!

Just watch ebay and the TGF Market for a week or so, you'll get an idea. If you are really patient, you can "Watch" several 614s on eBay, then when the auction is over, go check out the prices of the winning bid (if it sold). That should give you a ballpark range.
